Sumario:In the following article we evaluate three recent critical studies on the Latin American Bildungsroman. The review begins with an introduction about the origins of this novelistic subgenre and its acceptance and rewriting in literary contexts from different regions. The second part of the article discusses the contributions of three books published between 2020 and 2022. The discussion will include questions aimed at fostering conversations and new studies on the Latin American Bildungsroman. The article ends with some hypotheses about the future of this type of narratives.
