On one hand, the material aspect of writing as set forth in a diary, and on the other hand, the relationship between this material aspect and a recurrent topic in these journals, i.e., the impossibility of writing and not writing. Our hypothesis, following Giorgio Agamben, is that such writing impotence is exposed as matter. El presente trabajo se propone poner de relieve dos fenómenos que tienen lugar en los Diarios de Rodolfo Walsh y Alejandra Pizarnik. Por un lado, el aspecto material de la escritura que se expone en las escrituras diarísticas, y por otro lado, la vinculación de dicho aspecto con un tópico recurrente en las mismas, a saber, la imposibilidad de escribir y no escribir. Nuestra hipótesis, articulándose con conceptos de Giorgio Agamben, será que tal impotencia escrituraria se expone como materia.
