Understood as a procedure, but also as an invention of objects, as a transmutation of values, the game is nothing more than a first way of avoiding usefulness, of ignoring the obedient predisposition of adult morality. From Stevenson's reproaches to the nostalgia set in childhood, passing through Baudelaire's observations regarding the first forms of beauty in toys, to the appropriations of remains that play fosters in children, as Freud testifies, as Benjamin himself points out, behold, playing is an art, or what Cesar Aira calls the earliest documentation of our desire. What it is then about in these pages is to read in the game a prior to everything, a future preposition capable of questioning each new irruption. El presente trabajo propone una lectura del juego en tanto que ensayo de infancia, es decir, en tanto que experiencia de un olvido que se recupera. Entendido como procedimiento, pero también como invención de objetos, como transmutación de valores, el juego no es más que una primera forma de sustraernos a la utilidad, de ignorar la predisposición obediente de la moral adulta. Desde los reproches de Stevenson a la nostalgia puesta en la infancia, pasando por las observaciones de Baudelaire en cuanto a las primeras formas de la belleza en los juguetes, hasta las apropiaciones de restos que el juego propicia en los niños, como testimonia Freud, como el mismo Benjamin señala, he aquí que jugar es un arte, o lo que Cesar Aira denomina como la documentación más temprana de nuestro deseo. De lo que se trata entonces en estas páginas es de leer en el juego una anterioridad a todo, una preposición a futuro capaz de interrogarnos a cada nueva irrupción.
