From the pleasure of the search for identity towards the appearance of the beyond the pleasure principle, we will attend to the theoretical consequences of these mo- vements and the categories with which it will be articulated. Lacan’s reading will fracture the relationship with that common sense of repetition that linked him to the reproduction of behavior, introducing variation as a mark. “Textures” will offer us a possible name to read certain phenomena far false dichotomies. El presente escrito intenta indagar el trabajo que ha hecho la noción freu- diana de repetición a través del tiempo, lo que implicará desplegar un recorrido por la serie de modificaciones y perturbaciones en la economía libidinal que acompañan sus hallazgos referidos al problema. Desde lo placentero de la búsqueda de la identidad hacia la aparición del más allá del principio del placer, necesitaremos posar la atención en las consecuencias teóricas de estos movimientos y las categorías con las que se articulará. La lectura que hace Lacan sobre el concepto terminará de fracturar la relación con el sentido común otorgado a la repetición como cierta reproducción de la conducta, introduciendo la variación como su marca. “Texturas” nos ofrecerá un nombre posible para leer ciertos fenómenos lejos de falsas dicotomías.
