O trabalho analisa a perspectiva de raça e racismo no Brasil, como se formam os campos e visões sobre o tema, e recorre à literatura histórico sociológica sobre o processo que se debruça nas relações raciais transnacionais entre o Sul e o Norte global, associando distintas épocas e movimentações humanas para que seja possível compreender minimamente, de forma crítica, como o tema é apresentado e interpretado na sociedade brasileira contemporânea.
