The objective of this article is to analyze this valuable document in the light of the history of International Relations while highlighting the qualities of the Argentine diplomat, who would later stand out for the famous Protest, after the British usurpation in January from 1833. En febrero de 1832 el enviado argentino en Londres, Manuel Moreno, envió una nota reservada a Buenos Aires, en la cual advertía sobre la posibilidad de que el Reino Unido atacara a las Islas Malvinas, violentando la soberanía argentina. El objetivo del presente artículo pretende analizar dicho valioso documento a la luz de la historia de las relaciones internacionales, a la vez que poner en evidencia las cualidades del diplomático argentino, quien posteriormente se destacaría por la famosa Protesta, luego de la usurpación británica de enero de 1833.
