It will seek to identify those actions or convergent orientations of both processes and verify if there are links that affect their development and implementation. To do this, a review of the foreign policy of the Government of Nestor Kirchner will be carried out. Subsequently, the work focuses on the Central Region, beginning with a brief institutional introduction and then a description of the international activities carried out for the proposed analysis period. Finally, an analysis of the convergence of both processes will be carried out, identifying the connection points in terms of their orientation and execution, highlighting that although there were contact points, a common strategy was not articulated to improve the performance of both processes. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la relación entre la gestión externa subnacional de la Región Centro y los lineamientos de la política exterior argentina en el periodo 2003-2007. Se buscará identificar aquellas acciones u orientaciones de ambos procesos y verificar si existen vínculos que incidan en su desarrollo e instrumentación. Para ello, se realizará un repaso de la política exterior del gobierno de Néstor Kirchner. Posteriormente el trabajo se enfoca en la Región Centro, comenzando con una breve introducción institucional y luego una descripción de las actividades internacionales ejecutadas para el periodo de análisis propuesto. Finalmente se realizará un análisis de la convergencia de ambos procesos identificando los puntos de conexión en cuanto a su orientación y ejecución destacando que si bien existieron puntos de contacto no se articuló una estrategia común que permitiera mejorar el desempeño de ambos procesos.
