Explores the space of Latin America and explores it as the area that encloses a huge economic significance for EEUU. And so on develops the American strategy of security in relation to Latin America. Therefore explains the end of an important route to South America, as it meant for us, the Panama Canal. Then deploys the new military architecture (the amount of military bases) which today has us, specifying U.S. military bases that have been dismantled and which are currently installed in South America. In terms of natural resources, the South American territory is emerging as one of the regions of greater strategic importance. Then you try to analyze the reasons for the U.S. military presence in South American countries, for this are studied specifically the strategic resources such as lithium, water and biodiversity that in this region there are in abundance, relating them with the installation of military bases or FOLS.
