Being an intermediate city, with 46,429 inhabitants (INDEC, 2010), General Alvear joined the group of cities which already have an international area. Therefore, in addition to nation- state, other actors maintain cooperative international relations. The article describes internationalization experience carried out by the government in the period 2015-2019 through two dynamics: “from the inside-out” and “from the outside-in” and it also mentions development results.
