For this, we combined different data collection techniques typical of the qualitative research method. The main results of this research show that spatiality was a stimulating vehicle to anchor, evoke and recreate the memories related to the past of political violence that took place there. Also, it evidences the existence of a long-term memory that goes beyond State terrorism and invokes local social frameworks, diverse uses, affections, and relationships woven from their experiences in that particular territory. Este artículo analiza las memorias y las significaciones de vecinos/as en torno a un sitio que operó como Centro Clandestino de Detención Tortura y Extermino durante el terrorismo de Estado en Argentina y, en la actualidad, es un sitio de memoria. Para ello se combinó diversas técnicas de recolección de datos propias de la metodológica cualitativa. Los resultados muestran que la espacialidad constituyó un vehículo estimulante para anclar, evocar y recrear las memorias relativas al pasado de violencia política que allí tuvieron lugar. También, evidencian la existencia de una memoria de larga duración que excede el terrorismo de Estado e invoca los marcos sociales locales, los diversos usos, afectos y relaciones tejidas a partir de sus experiencias en ese territorio particular.
