Particularly, the American sixties avant-garde not only recorded the transformation of space produced by the postwar urbanization boom but also developed a transdisciplinary means for landscape shaping. In this regard, this paper analyzes what is referred to as documentary narrative, i. e., the widening of literature boundaries in some present writing practices. Its authors keep on searching for ways able to represent reality from an entropic approach in order to attain views of the displacements and the transformation of the landscape in areas in which neoliberalism becomes a building boom linked to extractive activities such as Argentina’s soybean agricultural business which has introduced transgenic crops from its outset. This article takes texts of Argentine writers Sergio Chejfec and Daniel García Helder as models of documentary narrative. Desde mediados de los sesenta el arte contemporáneo ha desarrollado una práctica específica denominada Land Art o, también, Earthwork (movimientos de tierra) en la que convergen un riguroso trabajo de observación, prácticas casi etnográficas sobre diferentes territorios y un exhaustivo registro y acopio de material de archivo, en particular, sobre las zonas afectadas por la expansión descontrolada del capitalismo. En particular, las vanguardias de los sesenta estadounidenses registraron la transformación del espacio que produjo el boom de las urbanizaciones de la posguerra y desarrollaron una modalidad transdisciplinar de configuración de paisajes. En esta línea, analizamos la expansión de los límites de la literatura en algunas prácticas de escritura del presente a las que denominamos narrativa documental. Sus autores siguen preguntando por los modos de representar la realidad desde una perspectiva entrópica con el objetivo de tomar vistas de los desplazamientos y la transformación del paisaje en las zonas en que el neoliberalismo se traduce en boom constructivo vinculado a actividades extractivas como, para dar un ejemplo, la del agro-negocio sojero en la Argentina que se inicia con la introducción de los cultivos transgénicos.
