Framed in an informal environment, the proposal of both events is not only to experience and get hold of tangible feelings but also to find out materials, spatiality, construction processes. They also enable to share experiences with young and/or renowned studios, artists and designers that shape a community. This reminds us of the pedagogical systems implemented by the masters of the modern movement. Frank Lloyd Wright in Taliesin and Walter Gropius in Bauhaus proposed learning by means of practice to get acquainted with the constructive qualities and aesthetic capabilities of each material before working on the spatial configuration. The community was fundamental for (re)thinking the production modes. We note that traces of the modern spirit are resumed and (re)produced through a renewing image, which, in turn, reveals a gap between the academy and the current productive processes that requires the reconnection of the student with the practice.
