It studies the case of the community Campo Maripe, due to its location on the hub of the territory used for hydrocarbon extraction: the Loma Campana field, in the geological formation of Vaca Muerta. The main hypothesis is that, because of the strategic characteristics of the area claimed by the community as their own, a securitization of their demands has taken place. It begins with a review of the theoretical starting points, to then present the case of the community in the context of territorial conflicts in the last decades. After that, it analyzes the portraying of Campo Maripe by Neuquen’s state official news site, Neuquen Informa, in the period 2013-2015, during which the conflict escalated in the area due to the dispute between the community and the provincial state. Then it addresses the statements of two agents -the Secretary of Development and Environment and the attorney- in the context of the prosecution of six members of the community, during the trial that took place in 2019. Este trabajo aborda las prácticas discursivas del estado neuquino con respecto al pueblo mapuce. Se toma el caso de la comunidad Campo Maripe, en función de su ubicación en un punto neurálgico del espacio afectado a la extracción de hidrocarburos: el yacimiento Loma Campana, de la formación geológica Vaca Muerta. La hipótesis central sostiene que, debido al carácter estratégico del área reclamada por la comunidad, se ha desarrollado un proceso de seguritización de su demanda territorial. Se inicia con un repaso de los puntos de partida teóricos, para luego presentar el caso de la comunidad en el marco de los conflictos territoriales de las últimas décadas. Tras ello, se analiza la caracterización de quienes integran Campo Maripe realizada por el informativo oficial del estado provincial, Neuquén Informa, entre 2013 y 2015, periodo en el que la conflictividad en la zona escaló a causa de la disputa entre la comunidad y la provincia. A continuación, se observan las manifestaciones de dos funcionarios -el Secretario de Desarrollo y Medio Ambiente, y el Fiscal de la causa- en el contexto del juicio penal acontecido en 2019 contra seis integrantes de la comunidad.
