Among them, the stage festivals of the Ibero-American cultural space have had to be, in a short time, re-signified to face an uncertain future perspective. Between May and July 2020, a survey was carried out among the festivals that make up EFíbero to assess their strategies against the pandemic. This study reveals the situation of festivals and the approaches that their directors have adopted to face the situation. The main contribution of this research is to relate the actions that the respondents carried out against the cultural policies implemented by the governments of Ibero-America at different levels. Thus, it is observed that in diverse scenarios there are common denominators in the strategies that the festivals put into practice. La situación pandémica ha impulsado el dictado de medidas de aislamiento que afectaron a los sectores productivos. Entre ellos, los festivales escénicos del espacio cultural iberoamericano han debido ser, en poco tiempo, resignificados para afrontar una perspectiva de futuro incierta. Entre mayo y julio de 2020 se llevó a cabo una encuesta entre los festivales que conforman EFíbero con el objeto de relevar sus estrategias frente a la pandemia. Este estudio releva la situación de los festivales y los enfoques que sus directores han adoptado para afrontar la coyuntura. El principal aporte de esta investigación es relacionar las acciones que los encuestados llevaron adelante frente a las políticas culturales implementadas por los gobiernos de Iberoamérica en sus diferentes niveles, particularmente de los gestores culturales del sistema de producción privado. Se observa entontes que en escenarios diversos hay denominadores comunes en las estrategias que los festivales pusieron en práctica.
