description Some authors generally identified or close to transhumanist positions, have proposed to morally enhance the human being with biotechnological means and drugs, even compulsively. Although this proposal aims reasonable objectives, such as avoiding final damage to the mankind, it seems to fail due to the basic ambiguity with which it refers to human morality and, consequently, to the particular moral enhancement pursued. This work aims to show this ambiguity from two sources that explain it, called the deficit of totality and the deficit of freedom.
