description This article focuses on the development and validation of the territorial conditions of the elderly when there is a flood disaster risk in the municipality of Naucalpan, State of México. This work consists of a geospatial correlation analysis that includes socioeconomic, demographic, and flood risk index indicators for Naucalpan. The results show the specialization of the territorial conditions which delineate the driving or aggravating factors of disaster risk to elderly from a socio-spatial perspective. The work proposes a risk analysis focused on older adults, which aims to serve as a principle for the formulation of action strategies in public policy, based on the geographical context and the needs of this population segment.
