The premise of the text is to delve into the role of the media as critics and whose exercise of questioning reaches the point of generating disbelief on the part of the population and how this affects the implementation of public policies in health matters. Análisis sobre el papel de los medios de comunicación durante la pandemia de Covid-19, particularmente en América Latina. Se propone describir los factores que generaron pánico y desinformación que a su vez afectó la gestión de la pandemia por los gobiernos nacionales. La premisa del texto es ahondar sobre el papel de los medios como críticos y cuyo ejercicio de cuestionamiento llega al punto de generar incredulidad por parte de la población y como ello afecta a la implementación de las políticas públicas en materia sanitaria.
