On the one hand, it gave rise to unprecedented health, economic and social challenges. On the other hand, issues such as the historical tension between access to public information and the protection of personal data took importance. This article explores and analyzes this debate in the context of Argentina’s ongoing COVID-19 vaccination program. La pandemia de COVID-19 sacudió tanto el panorama global como las realidades locales. Por un lado, dio lugar a desafíos en materia sanitaria, económica y social que suponen un reto sin antecedentes. Por el otro, tomaron relevancia temas de no pacífica solución como la histórica tensión entre el acceso a la información pública y la protección de datos personales. Hoy, esta colisión tiene lugar frente al desarrollo del plan de vacunación contra el COVID-19 en la Argentina y será el objeto de estudio de este artículo.
