description The present research work forms part of a short historical doctoral thesis which aims to contribute to the rescue of critical, democratic and humanist thought that originated with a group of university students between 1968 to 1974, beginning with the student movement in the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (Autonomous University of Chihuahua). The chosen methodology is historical-qualitative, based on interviews with protagonists and specialists in the field. These subjects formed part of the large planetary student movements of the 1960s and their particularities were defined by their local problems.
