Education qualifies its discussions by bringing cinema experience and ethical-aesthetic care to teacher training. The investigation aimed to understand the teacher training processes in the initial teacher education based on the ethical-aesthetic institute in education, mobilized by the cinema. The study related the ethical-aesthetic formation in the learning of the Brazilian Sign Language for teachers hearing in initial formation. Theoretical discussions, based on Castoriadis's Social Imaginary, discussed Initial Teacher Education and Cinema, Aesthetics and Ethics. The methodological devices were based on research-training (Josso, 2004), based on the students' narratives. The results pointed out that the initial training gives space to break with the rationalism of curricular programs when readings nuanced with art and aesthetic discussion are allowed, leaving reductionist formalisms of curricular programs. Still, it came to reaffirm the dialogue, provoked by cinema in teacher training, instituting ethics and aesthetics in teaching. |
