Both protagonists, young and libertine, want to live their love against the norms imposed on women by the society. These beautiful maidens decide to enjoy their passion in a free way, opposing with their actions against a destiny arranged by their parents; revealing themselves against the patriarchal symbolic violence. In this paper, I will study how is it exposed in these works the social discourse of women in its relationship with the medieval paradigm and Lorca’s context, in order to understand the dialogues between both dramatic texts. For this I will try to discover the traces of gender violence and the reactions of some female characters against it. Quizá los personajes femeninos más rebeldes de la dramaturgia española sean Melibea, de La Celestina, clásico atribuido a Fernando de Rojas, y Adela de La Casa de Bernarda Alba, obra célebre de García Lorca. Ambas protagonistas, jóvenes y libertinas, desean vivir su amor a espaldas de las normativas que la sociedad del momento imponía a la mujer. Estas bellas doncellas deciden gozar de su pasión de un modo libre, oponiéndose con su accionar al destino que determinan sus padres; rebelándose ante la violencia simbólica patriarcal. Estudiaré en este trabajo de qué modo aparece en esas obras el discurso social de la mujer en su relación con el paradigma medieval y con el contexto lorquiano, para comprender los diálogos que se entablan entre ambos textos dramáticos. Para ello procuraré descubrir las huellas de la violencia de género y las reacciones de ciertos personajes femeninos frente a ella.
