For its design, the elements of the didactic component are defined. Such elements arise from a referential theoretical framework which takes into account contributions from different authors, the work context and sources of information. Se presenta aquí la ampliación de un instrumento diseñado para caracterizar la práctica docente cuando ésta es desarrollada en propuestas de enseñanza universitaria con modalidad a distancia mediada por las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación. Para el diseño del mismo se definen los elementos que integran la componente didáctica a partir de un marco teórico referencial que tiene en cuenta aportes de diferentes autores, el contexto de trabajo y las fuentes de información disponibles.
