In this sense, the present article starts from the concept of specific didactics to be able to identify the constitutive and characteristic elements of Informatics as a scientific discipline.  The link between the concepts of didactics and informatics allows us to pose the existence of the structural elements of the Didactics of Informatics. Without ignoring the inherent knowledge of General Didactics, it is considered that the three main axes that structure the Didactics of Informatics and that constitute disciplinary elements for the investigation and the aulic work are: the process of model construction, the use of computers and programing. Particularly the latter, is not only important from the informatics discipline, but is one of the fundamental components of didactic proposals oriented to work with digital technologies. La construcción de actividades está determinada por el saber específico, dado que el contenido a trabajar nunca es neutral en las relaciones áulicas. En este sentido, el presente artículo parte del concepto de didácticas específicas para poder identificar los elementos constitutivos y característicos de la Informática como disciplina científica. El enlace entre los conceptos de didáctica e informática, permite plantear la existencia de los elementos estructurantes de la Didáctica de la Informática. Sin desconocer los saberes propios de la Didáctica General, se considera que los tres grandes ejes que estructuran la Didáctica de la Informática y que constituyen elementos disciplinares para la investigación y el trabajo áulico son, el proceso de construcción de modelos, el uso de computadoras y la programación. Particularmente éste último, no sólo es importante desde la informática, sino que es uno de los componentes fundamentales de las propuestas didácticas orientadas al trabajo con tecnologías digitales.
