He analyzes in each work the main theoretical proposals from that perspective, the relationship with the materials and their key questions. It ends with an invitation to consider how to work archaeologically with the ideas of the new metaphysics or alternative ontologies and how to construct our categories by letting local materials transform our new theories as our new theories transform our old antecedents, and not the other way around. El autor, invitado como comentarista del dossier Tras la interpretación: otros materialismos y ontologías en las arqueologías argentinas actuales presenta comentarios y reflexiones a partir de la lectura de los artículos desde el punto de vista del papel que juegan los materiales en su propia interpretación. El analiza en cada trabajo las principales propuestas teóricas desde esa perspectiva, la relación con los materiales y las cuestiones claves de las mismas. Finaliza con una invitación a considerar cómo trabajar arqueológicamente con las ideas de la nueva metafísica u ontologías alternativas y cómo construir nuestras categorías dejando que los materiales locales transformen nuestras nuevas teorías a la par que nuestras nuevas teorías transformen nuestros viejos antecedentes, y no al revés. O autor, convidado como comentarista do dossiê Depois da Interpretação: Outros Materialismos e Ontologias na Atual Arqueologia Argentina, apresenta comentários e reflexões a partir da leitura dos artigos do ponto de vista do papel que os materiais desempenham em sua própria interpretação. Em cada trabalho, ele analisa as principais propostas teóricas dessa perspectiva, a relação com os materiais e suas principais questões. Termina com um convite a considerar como trabalhar arqueologicamente com as ideias da nova metafísica ou ontologias alternativas e como construir nossas categorias, permitindo que os materiais locais transformem nossas novas teorias como nossas novas teorias transformam nossos antigos antecedentes, e não o contrário. .
