The chosen case is the road node "El Tropezón", from the city of Córdoba, where the problem of road junctions in cities is studied, about the residual spaces produced by these, also called empty-island As it is not possible to create places of use in these gaps due to the lack of safety and habitability, it is proposed to incorporate them into the urban landscape through environmental improvement actions that allow act like conectors in a sistem of biologics corridors. In this way, a new landscape model will be formed at a territorial scale where urban development does not mean a deterioration of the landscape. El presente trabajo plantea el estudio para el mejoramiento de los espacios residuales producidos por la infraestructura vial. La pregunta inicial de este trabajo fue ¿Es posible integrar estos espacios residuales en el paisaje urbano mejorando el impacto ambiental producido por obras de esta envergadura? El caso elegido es el Nudo vial “El Tropezón”, de la ciudad de Córdoba, donde se profundiza sobre el problema de los nudos viales en las ciudades, sobre los espacios residuales producidos por estos, llamados también vacíos-isla. Al no ser posible crear lugares de uso en estos vacíos por no contar con condiciones de seguridad ni habitabilidad, se propone a través de una estrategia de planificación paisajística incorporarlos a este nuevo paisaje urbano mediante acciones de mejoramiento ambiental que les permitan actuar como conectores ecológicos conformando un sistema de espacios verdes en el sector. De esta manera se estará posibilitando la formación de un nuevo modelo de paisaje a escala territorial donde el avance urbanístico no signifique un deterioro del paisaje.
