The civilization described by Freud in "The malaise in culture" is one that operated a harsh restriction of the sexual and aggressive desires of the individual, with the consequent loss of happiness and increased feelings of guilt, repression being its mechanism par excellence. It was effectively the civilization of neurosis, in which however there was an "arrangement" with the traumatic.
Another story is that of today, in which trauma is revealed as the protagonist on the scene. Thus, the elimination of suffering is evident in a way other than that of the word, which is not inscribed in the formations of the unconscious.
Consequently, our time poses new challenges for Psychoanalysis, perhaps it is concerned a clinic of the beyond the pleasure principle (of enjoyment), a clinic that "provoke" the subject, there where exists only the impact of the Real. |

La civilización descripta por Freud en “El malestar en la cultura” es aquella que operaba una dura restricción de los anhelos sexuales y agresivos del individuo, con la consecutiva pérdida de felicidad e incremento del sentimiento de culpa, siendo la represión su mecanismo por excelencia. Se trataba efectivamente de la civilización de la neurosis, en la que sin embargo había un “arreglo” con lo traumático. Otra historia es la de hoy, en la que el trauma se revela como protagonista en la escena. Se patentiza así la eliminación del sufrimiento por una vía distinta a la de la palabra, que no se inscribe en las formaciones del inconsciente. Consiguientemente, nuestra época plantea nuevos desafíos para el Psicoanálisis, acaso se trate de una clínica del más allá del principio del placer (del goce), una clínica que “provoque” al sujeto, allí donde sólo hay impacto de lo Real. La civilisation décrite par Freud dans "Le malaise dans la culture" est une civilisation qui opère une restriction sévère des aspirations sexuelles et agressives de l'individu, avec pour conséquence la perte du bonheur et l'augmentation de la culpabilité, la répression étant son mécanisme par excellence. C'était en effet la civilisation de la névrose, dans laquelle il y avait cependant un "règlement" avec le traumatisme. Il en va tout autrement aujourd'hui, où le traumatisme se révèle comme un protagoniste de la scène. L'élimination de la souffrance par une voie autre que celle du mot, qui n'est pas inscrite dans les formations de l'inconscient, est donc brevetée. Par conséquent, notre époque pose de nouveaux défis à la psychanalyse, peut-être une clinique au-delà du principe de plaisir (de la jouissance), une clinique qui "provoque" le sujet, où il n'y a que l'impact du Réel. A civilização descrita por Freud em "O mal-estar na cultura" é aquela que operava uma dura restrição dos anseios sexuais e agressivos do indivíduo, com a consequente perda de felicidade e o aumento do sentimento de culpa, sendo a repressão seu mecanismo por excelência. Tratava-se efetivamente da civilização da neurose, na qual, no entanto, havia um "acordo" com o traumático. Outra história é a de hoje, em que o trauma se revela como protagonista na cena. Patenteia-se assim a eliminação do sofrimento por uma via distinta da palavra, que não se inscreve nas formações do inconsciente. Consequentemente, nossa época apresenta novos desafios para a Psicanálise, talvez se trate de uma clínica do além do princípio do prazer (do gozo), uma clínica que "provoca" o sujeito, onde só há o impacto do Real.
