In this first part of the present study, an informal work analysis (also called unregistered or in black) is carried out in Argentina, using the data from the INDEC Permanent Household Survey and applying the basic criteria of the existing international definitions. La informalidad laboral es una realidad de todas las economías del mundo, pero es en los países subdesarrollados y en vías de desarrollo donde más significación tiene por la magnitud dentro del mercado del trabajo. En esta primera parte del presente estudio se efectúa un análisis del trabajo informal (también denominado no regristrado o en negro) en Argentina, utilizando los datos de la Encuesta Permanente de Hogares del INDEC y aplicando los criterios básicos de las definiciones existentes a nivel internacional.
