In this article we present the experience of the University Extension Project (PEU) "UNPAZ has memory", approved in 2021 in the framework of the second internal Call for University Extension Projects of the National University of José C. Paz (UNPAZ) called "University and Territory: interweaving community". The PEU was developed throughout the year 2022 and aimed to contribute to the generation of consensus around the value of democracy, the struggle for Memory, Truth and Justice of human rights organizations in Argentina -especially Sons and Daughters for Identity and Justice against Oblivion and Silence (H.I.J.O.S.) and Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo-, and the defense and promotion of human rights. It also sought to raise awareness and train the educational community on different aspects related to the last Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983). -We will briefly present some of the institutional background related to the subject, the problems previously observed that we tried to address with the PEU, the proposed objectives, the activities carried out and some of the characteristics of the PEU's members, and some of the characteristics of the PEU's members. En este artículo presentamos la experiencia del Proyecto de Extensión Universitaria (PEU) “La UNPAZ tiene memoria”, aprobado en el año 2021 en el marco de la segunda Convocatoria interna a Proyectos de Extensión Universitaria de la Universidad Nacional de José C. Paz (UNPAZ) denominada “Universidad y Territorio: entretejiendo comunidad”. El PEU se desarrolló a lo largo del año 2022 y se propuso contribuir a la generación de consensos en torno al valor de la democracia, la lucha por la Memoria, la Verdad y la Justicia de las organizaciones de derechos humanos de la Argentina ―en especial de Hijos e Hijas por la Identidad y la Justicia contra el Olvido y el Silencio (H.I.J.O.S.) y Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo―, y la defensa y promoción de los derechos humanos. Asimismo, buscó sensibilizar y capacitar a la comunidad educativa sobre distintos aspectos vinculados a la última dictadura argentina (1976-1983) ―características, causas, consecuencias― y sobre cómo, a partir de políticas públicas de memoria, se han podido transformar ex centros clandestinos de detención y tortura ―como la ex Escuela de Mecánica de la Armada (ESMA)― en espacios de memoria que apelan especialmente a las nuevas generaciones. Presentaremos de modo breve algunos antecedentes institucionales vinculados a la temática, la problemática previamente observada que se intentó abordar con el PEU, los objetivos propuestos, las actividades realizadas y algunas características de los los/las integrantes del PEU en el interior de la UNPAZ y de la asociación vinculante ―la agrupación H.I.J.O.S. Capital―. Neste artigo apresentamos a experiência do Projeto de Extensão Universitária (PEU) "UNPAZ tem memória", aprovado em 2021 no âmbito da segunda Chamada interna de Projetos de Extensão Universitária da Universidade Nacional de José C. Paz (UNPAZ) denominada "Universidade e Território: entrelaçando comunidade". O PEU foi desenvolvido ao longo do ano de 2022 e teve como objetivo contribuir para a geração de consenso em torno do valor da democracia, da luta pela Memória, Verdade e Justiça das organizações de direitos humanos na Argentina - especialmente Filhos e Filhas pela Identidade e Justiça contra o Esquecimento e o Silêncio (H.I.J.O.S.) e Avós da Praça de Maio -, e da defesa e promoção dos direitos humanos. Também buscou conscientizar e treinar a comunidade educacional sobre diferentes aspectos relacionados à última ditadura argentina (1976-1983). -Apresentaremos brevemente alguns dos antecedentes institucionais relacionados ao assunto, os problemas observados anteriormente que a PEU tentou abordar, os objetivos propostos, as atividades realizadas e algumas das características dos membros da PEU, bem como algumas das características dos membros da PEU.
