The construction of the order, Ariel, Buenos Aires, 2012, 2 volumes, 696 and 752 pages. The publication of this book that aims to study Latin American historical processes from a political perspective: "investigating the past from the imperatives of the present, facing the future", forces us to review the central proposal that proposes. This book, according to its authors, was written to contribute to our thinking in Latin America using the resources of "plurality of voices" and the latest approaches of scientific knowledge from different theoretical perspectives. To recover the political interpretation to understand the past, but with the pretension to constitute a contribution for the present and the future of our societies in favor of the development of an emancipatory project. The attractive proposal on which this work is largely based has led us to seek a meeting with its authors. We hope that this dialogue will allow us to clarify not only the contents but also the scope and the projection of a work which, as a synthesis of our history, responds to a demand to know more and to think about the current situation in Latin America with a look at the future .
