Attempts towards peace, amid dialogues and agreements between political and military contenders, have also been there for more than half a century. In more recent times, there has been a sustained and long-term exile in which changes in profiles, dynamics, and agencies have been noticed. Based on secondary sources and systematization of the organizational experiences of Colombian exiles in the Southern Cone, this article aims to offer an approach to understand the changes in the Colombian exile population in the 21st Century. It unravels the dynamics that influenced the exile experience, as well as the practices and elements of the agency that emerged in the light of the last Peace Accord. This piece also presents a general characterization of these populations from the end of the last century to the present day which the author connects with the structural changes on the political power and the territorial control that arose in the context of the last and previous Peace Agreements. This is followed by an analysis of the new exile agencies and their characteristics to end with some reflections as a conclusion. La violencia política es un continuum en la historia de Colombia desde las guerras de independencia, con prácticas e impactos diferenciados según la época. Más de medio siglo lleva ese país intentando avanzar hacia la paz, en medio de diálogos y acuerdos entre contendores políticos y militares. En este período se ha producido un exilio sostenido y de larga duración en el que se advierten cambios en sus perfiles, dinámicas y agencias. A partir de la revisión de fuentes secundarias y de la sistematización de experiencias organizativas de población colombiana exiliada en el Cono Sur, este artículo pretende ofrecer una aproximación a los cambios que se advierten en el exilio colombiano durante el siglo XXI. Los elementos que influyeron en ellos, las prácticas y los agenciamientos que emergieron a la luz del último acuerdo de paz. Se presenta una caracterización general del exilio colombiano de finales del siglo pasado hasta nuestros días, vinculada a la reflexión sobre los cambios en las estructuras del poder político y el control territorial, surgidos de los diferentes acuerdos de paz. Seguido del análisis sobre las nuevas agencias del exilio que emergen en este siglo y sus características. Se finaliza con algunas reflexiones a modo de conclusión.
