Thus, if there is indeed a historical movement where the ideological performativity and “primacy of the politics” appear with most relief, it is the fascism. Hence the question about the changes in perspectives from which it has been studied can serve as a starting point to discuss relevant aspects of this complex relation between the ideological and the social. La teoría social e historiografía de las últimas décadas han puesto un especial énfasis en el análisis de lo político e ideológico, discutiendo desde diversas perspectivas la tradicional interpretación de esas dimensiones como resultantes causalmente determinadas por otras instancias de lo social. Ahora bien, si efectivamente existe un movimiento histórico donde la performatividad ideológica y la ‚primacía de la política se presentan con mayor relieve, es el fascismo. De allí que la indagación sobre los cambios en las perspectivas desde las cuales se lo ha estudiado pueden servir como punto de partida para discutir aspectos relevantes de esa compleja relación entre lo ideológico y lo social.
