It is discussed here their main lines of approaching to this phenomenon, placing at the same time these works in the context of the current historiography on the topic. En las últimas dos décadas los historiadores han prestado atención a numerosos y complejos fenómenos políticos durante la denominada “época helenística”. El siguiente trabajo intenta hacer una recensión para el público de habla hispana de tres libros recientemente publicados sobre los reinos helenísticos. Se discuten aquí sus principales líneas de abordaje de este fenómeno, ubicando al mismo tiempo a estas obras en el contexto de la historiografía actual sobre el tema.
