| Sumario: | This essay reviews contemporary artistic productions that attemp to rewrite art history from feminist perspectives, through intermediality practices. We analise María Gimenos ́s performance Queridas viejas and Labores feministas by Andrea Brunotti. We sustain that they seek to reformulate the modern paradigm that organizes a canon of singularities and exceptional figures. Gimeno enriches the canon and Brunotti reinvents it. Art as a rewriting of art history would also enables an analysis perspective on interme-diality towards the intersection between artistic practice, theory, criticism, and history. |
