Distribution and implementation of TA in the province of Cordoba (February 27 to March 12, 2020) had the active participation of the School of Nutrition (UNC) in its planning, execution, and evaluation.  Objectives: The aim of this study is to describe the target population of the Food Card in the province of Cordoba and analyze the main implications associated with "the best food purchase."  Materials and methods: A qualitative and quantitative approach (n = 9571 women) was used. Techniques included a semi-structured questionnaire and participatory workshops. Statistic, descriptive, inferential, and content analysis were conducted on the main implications regarding "the best food purchase."  Results: There was marked heterogeneity in material living conditions (basic needs), services (installed water network), cooking equipment (oven, refrigerator), places of purchase (supermarkets, neighborhood shops, limited access to varied food), state and community social programs (community dining rooms, support networks). Implications that define the "best purchase" included: acquiring a specific food item; a good cost/benefit ratio; coverage of healthy food; treating oneself; meeting daily needs; safe food; good treatment; choosing where to buy; proximity.  Conclusions: This policy can be seen as a "first" compensation to reduce the structural food gap in Argentina. It raises the question of what "eating well" means for each individual. "The best purchase" is defined based on these implications.  Keywords: social policies, food, implications, Cordoba.

Introducción:La Tarjeta Alimentar (TA) constituyó una estrategia del Plan Argentina contra el Hambre, direccionada a promover y fortalecer el acceso a la Canasta Básica de Alimentos de la población con pobreza de ingresos, en pos de mejorar la calidad nutricional de la alimentación. El operativo de entrega de la TA en la provincia de Córdoba, (27 febrero al 12 marzo de 2020), contó con la participación activa de la Escuela de Nutrición (UNC) en su planificación, ejecución y evaluación. Objetivos: Este trabajo se propone describir la población destinataria de la Tarjeta Alimentar en la provincia de Córdoba, y analizar los principales sentidos asociados a “la mejor compra de alimentos”. Métodos: abordaje cualitativo y cuantitativo (n=9571 mujeres). Técnicas: cuestionario semi-estructurado y talleres participativos. Análisis estadístico descriptivos, inferencial y de contenido de los principales sentidos sobre la “mejor compra de alimentos”. Resultados: marcada heterogeneidad en condiciones materiales de vida (necesidades básicas), servicios (red de agua instalada), equipamiento para cocinar (horno, heladera), sitios de compra (supermercados, comercios barriales, inaccesibilidad a alimentos variados), programas sociales estatales y comunitarios (comedores barriales, redes de apoyo). Sentidos que definen la “mejor compra”: adquisición de un alimento específico; buena relación costo/beneficio; cobertura de alimentación saludable; darse un gustito; alcanzar lo diario; alimentos inocuos; buen trato, elegir dónde comprar, cercanía. Conclusiones: esta política puede ser pensada como una “primera” compensación para achicar la brecha estructural alimentaria argentina. Nos interpela ¿qué implica “comer bien” para cada quién? A operação de entrega de TA na província de Córdoba, (27 de fevereiro a 12 de março de 2020), contou com a participação ativa da Escola de Nutrição (UNC) em seu planejamento, execução e avaliação. Objetivos: Este trabalho tem como objetivo descrever a população-alvo do Cartão Alimentar na província de Córdoba e analisar os principais significados associados a "a melhor compra de alimentos". Material e métodos: abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa (n=9571 mulheres). Técnicas: questionário semi-estruturado e oficinas participativas. Análise estatística descritiva, inferencial e de conteúdo dos principais sentidos sobre a "melhor compra de alimentos". Resultados: heterogeneidade acentuada nas condições materiais de vida (necessidades básicas), serviços (rede de água instalada), equipamentos de cozinha (forno, geladeira), locais de compras (supermercados, lojas de conveniência, inacessibilidade à alimentação variada), programas sociais estaduais e comunitários (sopa de bairro cozinhas, redes de apoio). Sentidos que definem a "melhor compra": aquisição de um alimento específico; boa relação custo/benefício; cobertura de alimentação saudável; dar-se um jeitinho; alcançar o diário; alimentos inócuos; bom tratamento, escolher onde comprar, proximidade. Conclusões: esta política pode ser pensada como uma "primeira" compensação para reduzir a lacuna alimentar estrutural na Argentina. O que significa "comer adequadamente" para todos?
