The aim is to explain the changes and sociocultural meaning of these changes in foodways of this displaced people.For this, a bibliographic and hemerographic was carried out, as well as seven interviews with female heads of household living in a situation of forced displacement in Mazatlan, Mexico from July 2018 to May 2019. The finding shows how food is an of the great cultural and social losses of forced displacement. Unlike voluntary migration, forced displacement constructs a much more adverse and profound discourse against the food habits of the city. Also, for them, this dietary change means disorders in their relationship with their community, their territory, their customs, and their rights. El presente trabajo estudia el binomio desplazamiento humano forzado y hábitos alimenticios de una región del noroeste de México. El objetivo es explicar los cambios y los significados socioculturales de estos cambios en los hábitos alimenticios de estas personas desplazadas. Para esto, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica y hemerográfica, así como siete entrevistas a mujeres jefas de familia que viven en situación de desplazamiento forzado en Mazatlán, México, durante julio de 2018 a mayo de 2019. Los hallazgos dan cuenta de cómo la comida es una de las grandes pérdidas culturales y sociales del desplazamiento forzado. A diferencia de los migrantes voluntarios, la persona desplazada construye un discurso mucho más adverso y profundo en contra de los hábitos alimenticios de la ciudad. Además, para ellos el cambio alimenticio significa trastornos en su relación con su comunidad, su territorio, sus costumbres y sus derechos.  Este artigo enfoca o binômio deslocamento humano forçado e hábitos alimentares em uma região do noroeste do México. O objetivo é explicar as mudanças e o significado sociocultural dessas mudanças nos hábitos alimentares desses deslocados. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e hemerográfica, além de sete entrevistas com mulheres chefes de família em situação de deslocamento forçado em Mazatlán. , México de julho de 2018 a maio de 2019. A descoberta mostra como a comida é uma das grandes perdas culturais e sociais do deslocamento forçado. Ao contrário da migração voluntária, o deslocamento forçado constrói um discurso muito mais adverso e profundo contra os hábitos alimentares da cidade.
