Urine samples received in our lab were analyzed by both methods at the same time. Statistics tests of Kappa and Chi-Square are used for evaluation. The usefulness of these tests in cases of the diagnostic suspicion of benzodiazepine consumption in certain pathologies deserves the availability of these immunological tests since they can provide results in a short time which will let the medical professional make timely decisions regarding the problem presented by the patient. In this work we have been able to verify that both methods show good concordance (Kappa Test = 0.88) so, both can be indistinctly used for the cases presented by the Toxicology lab. Debido a la gran cantidad de test comerciales disponibles para la determinación de metabolitos de benzodiacepinas en orina en el mercado, es que decidimos evaluar la concordancia de 2 test inmunológicos, disponibles en el laboratorio de Toxicología de nuestro hospital. Las muestras de orinas recibidas en nuestro laboratorio fueron analizadas en paralelo por ambos métodos. Se aplicaran los test estadisticos de Kappa y Chi cuadrado para su evaluación. La utilidad de estos test ante la sospecha diagnóstica de consumo de benzodiacepinas en determinadas patologías, amerita la disponibilidad de estos test inmunológicos que pueden proveer en corto tiempo, un resultado que permita al profesional médico una oportuna toma de decisiones frente a la problemática con la cual arriba el paciente. En este trabajo pudimos comprobar que ambos métodos presentan muy buena concordancia (test Kappa=0,88), por lo cual son ambos test indistintamente aplicables para la casuística que presenta el Laboratorio de Toxicología. Devido ao grande número de testes comerciais disponíveis no mercado para a determinação de metabólitos de benzodiazepina na urina, decidimos avaliar a concordância de dois testes imunológicos, disponíveis no laboratório de Toxicologia de nosso hospital. As amostras de urina recebidas em nosso laboratório foram analisadas em paralelo pelos dois métodos. Os testes estatísticos Kappa e Xi quadrado serão aplicados na sua avaliação. A utilidade desses testes diante da suspeita diagnóstica do consumo de benzodiazepínicosem determinadas patologias merece a disponibilidade desses testes imunológicos que podem fornecer em pouco tempo, resultados que permitem ao profissional médico uma tomada de decisão oportuna em relação ao problema apresentado pelo paciente. Neste trabalho, pudemos verificar que ambos os métodos têm uma concordância muito boa (teste Kappa = 0,88), motivo pelo qual ambos são testes indistintamente aplicáveis ao estudo de casos apresentados pelo Laboratório de Toxicologia.
