This complex postmodern globalized socio-cultural reality in which we live stresses the need for approaching the study of the law, not only from a regulatory perspective, but also from anthropological, social and judicial ethical viewpoints, hence the term multidimensional. Frente a la compleja realidad contemporánea situada en una sociedad en transición, posmoderna y globalizada, analizamos los desafíos que se le presentan a un mundo jurídico multidimensional que tiene que abarcar e interpretar en su multidimensionalidad la problemática que se le presenta al Derecho ante este nuevo contexto de un mundo en transición. Esta realidad socio-cultural compleja, posmoderna y globalizada en la que vivimos plantea la necesidad de su abordaje desde un derecho considerado no sólo en su faz normativa, sino también antropológica, social, cultural y ético-jurídica, de allí el término multidimensional.
