The emphasis is put on the role assumed by the political parties, key institutions of the democratic system in the dynamic transactional –partly explicit and partly implicit– that allowed the incorporation of re-election of the Governor. El presente trabajo contiene un estudio analítico de la reforma de la Constitución de la Provincia de Córdoba de 1987 bajo un enfoque integrativista, que escudriña –más allá del articulado del documento jurídico– la “Constitución viva” y el patrimonio de experiencias institucionales, fuerzas de poder y hechos constituyentes que impactaron en el proyecto de provincia y plan de gobierno diseñado por la enmienda. Se pone el acento, en el rol que asumieron los partidos políticos, instituciones fundamentales del sistema democrático, en la dinámica transaccional –en parte explícita y en parte implícita– que permitió la incorporación de la reelección del Gobernador.
