The sentences reveal the legal, political, ethical, moral and social dilemma that the cases pose when trying to achieve the right balance between the public interest and the interests of the individuals directly affected by the decision.  El Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos se ha pronunciado varias veces sobre la eficacia interna de un contrato de gestación por sustitución internacional. Las sentencias traslucen el dilema jurídico, político, ético, moral y social que plantean los casos cuando se procura alcanzar el equilibrio justo entre el interés público y los intereses de los individuos directamente afectados por la decisión.
