However, an aspect of great relevance that deserves further study is the tension between the celebration of international treaties on human rights by the Federal government and our form of state. The objective of this paper is to outline the contours of this issue and inquire about the existing constitutional mechanisms and some measures that have been proposed in order to provide solutions or alleviate the problems and tensions derived from the incorporation of international treaties on human rights within the framework of our federal system.
