Las pudriciones en vid, en la zona de Colonia Caroya, constituyen un problema que ha venido agravándose en los últimos años, al extremo que en algunos viñedos se pierde más de la mitad de la uva en un período de pocos días antes de la cosecha.Si bien los agentes fitopatógenos que pueden causar pudricionosen uva son numerosos , se considera que el principal es Botrytiscinerea Pers.
