The objective has been to relieve the possible impact that the development of the field of studies on language policies could have on the changes of focus on languages ​​as linguistic objects. Likewise, we have tried to trace gender based linguistic policies, that is, the implicit or explicit inclusion of considerations about the role that gender relations and discourses have in the articulation between linguistic forms and their social value. El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis de las sucesivas versiones de los planes de estudios de las carreras de grado de Letras y Portugués de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, así como también de legislaciones educativas y diseños curriculares estatales pertenecientes al período 1984-2014. El objetivo ha sido relevar el posible impacto que el desarrollo del campo de estudios sobre políticas del lenguaje pudo tener sobre los cambios de enfoque sobre las lenguas como objetos lingüísticos. Asimismo, hemos intentado rastrear políticas lingüísticas de género, es decir, la inclusión implícita o explícita de consideraciones sobre el rol que las relaciones y discursos de género poseen en la articulación entre las formas lingüísticas y su valor social.
