A propósito de una observación de chancros sifilíticos múltiples extragenitales (dos en el labio inferior y uno en hombro derecho) Garzón, Rafael Sífilis Dermatología Adenopatía Syphilis Dermatology Adenopathy In a previous publication, I had the opportunity to recall briefly the curious circumstances that favored the contamination of syphilis in an indigent family, taken from a syphilitic chancre of peri-anal localization in a passive pedophile child, to his own mother, in whom appeared after a month of infection in her son, a syphilitic chancre of the right ear lobe; From the information gathered on that occasion about the possible form of contamination in the mother, it could only be deduced that it was due to the absolute lack of precautions on the part of the sick son, who, without any dressing to protect the lesion, sowed his treponemes in the bedclothes used by both of them. I recalled on that occasion that extragenital syphilitic chancres are a rarity in our environment and that is why I thought it would be of interest to present to you this patient who had two papulo-erosive syphilitic chancres of the lower lip and an ulcerative chancre of the right shoulder region, acquired simultaneously upon his admission to the service on October 4th of the current year. En una publicación anterior, tuve la oportunidad de recordar someramente las circunstancias curiosas que favorecieron la contaminación de la sífilis, en una familia indigente, llevada de un chancro sifilítico de localización peri anal en un niño pederasta pasivo, a su propia madre, en quien apareció después de un mes de la infección en su hijo, un chancro sifilítico de lóbulo de la oreja derecha; De los antecedentes recogidos en esa oportunidad sobre la posible forma de contaminación en la madre, solo pudo deducirse que fue debida a la absoluta falta de precauciones de parte del hijo enfermo, el cual sin ningún apósito que protegiera la lesión, hacía la siembra de sus treponemas, en las ropas de cama que usaban ambos. Recordé en aquella oportunidad, que los chancros sifilíticos extragenitales, constituyen una rareza en nuestro medio y es por ello que me ha parecido de interés presentarles a Uds, este enfermo que tenía a su ingreso en el servicio el 4 de Octubre del corriente año, dos chancros sifilíticos pápulo-erosivos, de labio inferior y un chancro ulceroso de la región del hombro derecho, adquiridos simultáneamente.
