Uruguay, (1911-1917) Fierro Alemán, Lía Anarchism Batllismo 900s Anarquismo Batllismo 900s This article is situated on Uruguay in the first decades of the 20th century, with the aim of exploring different anarchists who sympathized with José Batlle y Ordóñez –who held the Presidency of the Republic between 1903 and 1907, and between 1911 and 1915–, as well as with the batllismo; political movement gestated under his leadership.  Specifically, the text intends to account for the ways in which historiography has interpreted such rapprochement between anarchism and batllismo, and contribute to the discussion about it by presenting the individual trajectories of those anarchists who embodied it. Este artículo, concentrado en el Uruguay de las primeras décadas del siglo XX, se dedica a la experiencia de distintos anarquistas que simpatizaron con José Batlle y Ordóñez –presidente del país en los períodos 1903-1907 y 1911-1915- y con el batllismo: movimiento político gestado bajo el liderazgo del mandatario.
