The institutional space of the Military Circle, in conjunction with the origin corporate contingencies in the case of Argentine Army officers, presents the opportunity to explore an alternative profile that cooperates in defining the social and cultural history of the Argentine military in a critical period of the 20th century. La dimensión del asociacionismo militar ha tenido escaso desarrollo en términos investigativos en la Argentina. Sus múltiples aristas, la diversidad de interpretaciones y la carencia de aproximaciones teóricas que echen bases para el diálogo, proveen al tema de un atractivo heurístico que demanda un estudio pormenorizado. El espacio institucional del Círculo Militar, en conjunción con las contingencias corporativas de origen para el caso de los oficiales del Ejército argentino, presenta la oportunidad de explorar un perfil alternativo que coopere en la definición de la historia social y cultural de los militares argentinos en un lapso crítico del siglo XX.
