La Historia y Filosofía de la Ciencia en una nueva tensión Queijo Olano, Juan Andrés Epistemología Histórica Lorraine Daston Lorenz Krüger Historia y Filosofía de la Ciencia Historical Epistemology Lorraine Daston Lorenz Krüger History and Philosophy of Science Historical Epistemology (HE) is one of the most recent recognized programs in the History and Philosophy of Science, mainly since its refoundation from the creation of the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. This new movement, which aims to involve both History and Philosophy in the study of scientific practice, has generated an atmosphere of discussion and some philosophers have exposed their concerns about it. The central tension that it caused involves a revival of an old questions about the nature of Science and which disciplines should take care of this fundamental question. This work has the purpose of identifying the philosophical background behind the HE label, in order to raise up a series of warnings about the new HE and the philosophical and political project that seems to be shadowed in the silence about that fundamental question. Refundado desde el Instituto Max Planck, el programa conocido como Epistemología Histórica (EH) se erige como uno de los más reconocidos movimientos para el tratamiento de la vieja práctica epistemológica. Este nuevo movimiento, que pretende involucrar tanto a la Historia como a la Filosofía en el estudio de la práctica científica, ha generado un ambiente de discusión donde las críticas no demoraron en aparecer. La tensión central que provocó no es otra que la que se produce cuando, una vez más, se pone en disputa la definición de lo que la ciencia es, hace o debería hacer. Este trabajo tiene el propósito de identificar los programas filosóficos que históricamente se han dado detrás de esta etiqueta y eleva una serie de advertencias sobre la nueva epistemología histórica y el proyecto filosófico y político que parece esgrimirse desde sus silencios.
