In both the literary and journalistic texts, murder operates as an instrument that denaturalizes women from the conditions symbolically imposed by “habitus” and leads them to deconstruct the social figure that tradition has induced them to assume. The theoretical guidelines that guide this study are, basically, the concept of “habitus” defined by the French theorist Pierre Bourdieu, the notion of body as situation or locus, proposed by Judith Butler, and the text/discourse/context relationship analyzed from Teun van Dijk´s theoretical position. Esta propuesta de trabajo plantea abordar -desde una perspectiva comparatística- la representación de la mujer asesina a partir del análisis de la novela El desorden de tu nombre (España, 1988) de Juan José Millás y un corpus acotado de textos periodísticos en los que se exponen crímenes cometidos por mujeres. Tanto en el texto literario como en los textos periodísticos, el crimen opera como un instrumento que desnaturaliza a la mujer de las condiciones impuestas simbólicamente por el “habitus” y las conduce a deconstruir la figura social que la tradición las ha inducido a asumir. Los lineamientos teóricos que orientan este estudio son, básicamente, el concepto de “habitus” definido por el teórico francés Pierre Bourdieu, la noción de cuerpo como situación o locus propuesta por Judith Butler y la relación texto/discurso/contexto analizada desde la posición teórica de Teun van Dijk.
