A case of an adult patient with a clinical and histopathological diagnosis of lingual carcinoma is reported. The study of these patients is important since they must remain in dental surveillance, not only in an early diagnosis of suspected premalignant and malignant oral lesions and timely treatment as appropriate, which improves their prognosis and quality of life.
