Tetracyclines Experimental Development Tissues Tetraciclinas Desarrollo Experimental Tejidos From the observation made of the lot of rats employed and. of the material used (histologic cuts of the jaws of 15 breedings freshly born, 50 hemi-jaws and upper canines, 50 cutsfor griding-in of lower canines and 13 of the firts lower molars; plus same quantity of material coming from 25 witness breedings), the following facts spur out: 1) In the histologic cuts of jaws obtained from freshly born breedings, fluorescency has been observed in all tissues in the 100% of the cases. No bright differential chracteristics have been observed in type and range of fluorescency given by the three tethracyclines used. 2) In the bone ot the jaws the fluoresc: ency was total. disappearing PU)gressively with the age. The rriaj'or persistency has been observed in the cortical of the pre-molar region. 3) The dentina showed clear yellow fluoresnce in all the cases, being abie to distinguish more glittering bands which with age in increase migrated towards the incisa! with all complex toothwort and drew away progressively from the pulpa! chamber, so that, the later the investigation the nearer carne the fluorescent part to the incisa! regían. 4) In the enamel the fluorescence was variable. 5) In the paradentium and germinating regían, the fiuorescence decreased rapidly, while it was more persistent in the pulp. 6) In the material coming from breeding of 1 O to 15 days of age structural anomalies have been observed in the cuspids of the lower represented by marked incremental lines od Owen and globular dentine In the enamel of sorne canines changes in the enamel have been found represented by hypocalcified lines De la observación del lote de ratas empleado y del material investigado (cortes histológicos de maxilares de 15 crías recién nacidas, 50 hemi mandíbulas e incisivos superiores, 50 cortes por desgates de incisivos inferiores y 13 de primeros molares inferiores; más igual material proveniente de 25 crías testigo), surgen los siguientes hechos: 1) En los cortes histológicos de maxilares obtenidos de crías recién nacidas, se observó fluorescencia en todos los tejidos en el 100% de los casos. No sé observaron características diferenciales nítidas; en el tipo y grado de fluorescencia dado por las tres tetracic!inas empleadas. 2) En el hueso de los maxilares ·¡a fluorescencia fue total; desaparecief1-do progresivamente con la edad. Lamayor persistencia se observó en la cortical de la zona pre-molar. 3) La dentina presentó nítida:.fluorescencia amarilla en todos los casos, pudiendo distinguirse bandas más brillantes que al aumentar la edad migraban hacia incisa! con todo el complejo dentario y se alejaban progresivamente de la cámara ·pulpar, de manera que cuanto más tardío el examen más se acercaba la parte fluorescente a la región incisa!. 4) En el esmalte la fluorescencia fue variable. 5) En el periodonto y zona germinativa; la fluorescencia fue decreciendo rápidamente, mientras que fue más persistente en la pulpa. 6) En el material procedente de crías de 1 O a 15 días se observaron anomalías estructurales localizadas en las cúspides de los incisivos inferiores y de las de más edad, alteraciones de mineralización representadas por marcadas líneas incrementales de Owen y dentina globular.
