Currently, urban areas are supposed to be transformed compared to previous stages. The research questions seek to answer: What are these contemporary urbanities? What are the spatial, temporal, and social conditions incident to its generation? The article's objective is to identify urbanities, and the spatial-temporal requirements for their generation or promotion by observing the public realm (the street and adjacent buildings), and public spaces (squares), in the case of Córdoba, Argentina. Themethodology combines qualitative and quantitative data with in situ observation techniques and photographic surveys. The exploratory analysis is composed of five social spatiotemporal conditions. The conclusions show the diversity of urbanities dependent on the social world where emerging, and the presence or absence of certain conditions may lead to their generation. El concepto de urbanidad(es) es revisitado desde los estudios sociales y urbanos a partir de las diversas transformaciones en la ciudad, en el marco de la globalización actual, el dominio de las tecnologías de comunicación, y los nuevos paradigmas de desarrolloeconómico y político, dan lugar a renovadas formas de ciudadanía y de organización del espacio urbano público y privado. La urbanidad se entiende como la integración e interacción social sucedida en un soporte espacial material con ciertas condiciones temporales, sociales y culturales. En la actualidad las urbanidades se suponen transformadas respecto a etapas anteriores. Las preguntas de investigación buscan responder ¿Cómo son estas urbanidades contemporáneas? y ¿Cuáles son las condiciones espaciales, temporales, y sociales incidentes en su generación? El objetivo del artículo es identificar las urbanidades y las condiciones espacio temporales para su generación o promoción desde la observación del ámbito público (la calle y las edificaciones adyacentes) y de espacios públicos (plazas) en el caso de Córdoba, Argentina. La metodología combina datos cualitativos y cuantitativos con técnicas de la observación in situ, y relevamiento fotográfico. El análisis exploratorio se compone de cincocondiciones espacio temporales sociales. Las conclusiones muestran la diversidad de urbanidades dependientes del mundo social donde están sucediendo y la presencia o  ausencia de ciertas condiciones interrelacionadas pueden propiciar o no su generación.
